FMA goes by many names such as Escrima, Arnis, and Kali to name a few. Our knowledge is primarily from the Inosanto-Lacoste lineage, though we have had some exposure to other styles. FMA is a weapons first martial art, meaning that students begin training with sticks and later add knives and swords.

Traditionally, the empty-hand side of FMA is taught only after the student has progressed through all of the weapons. In today's modern society with weapons being restricted in many locations, we feel it is important to begin learning this early.
